Samples
of ATS Business Formula Fixes for Top Gun Mechanics:
1.)
Popular and expensive British SUV engine will quit
but if you wait 5-10 minutes, will start again.
Replace this sensor and you can charge $200 per
hour.
2.)
Quick way to test, pull out and time 1997 or newer
model Dodge Cummins fuel pump whenever this diesel
engine does no start but will run when sprayed with
ether in the intake manifold.
3.)
This 2004 F250 Ford Pick Up truck will not start
and gives a check engine light fault code. If it
starts, you have to crank it for a long time but
it dies after 1-3 minutes when it runs. A popular
part usually fixes this and is done all the time
by mechanics in most Ford dealerships.
4.)
This 2005 Chevy Silverado 6.0L gas engine that will
not start and will not turn over when started. Starter
is good and will start only if you power it up manually.
What is the common wiring problem here which you
can do in half an hour and your customer will be
glad to pay you $200 or more?
5.)
A rubber mallet is use to fix this no start on a
2005 Dodge Caravan with a faulty fuel gage reading.
Use this rubber mallet even before checking the
engine cam sensor, spark, fuel, compression etc.
6.)
Why would a 2004 Mazda engine sensor should be tested
with this method if it has no start and most dealer
would swear to you that it does not need it but
it is one of the best Mazda mechanics secret!
7.)
A popular 2005 Mercedes sedan no start is caused
by no fuel from injectors... before thinking of
expensive repairs such as replacing the fuel pump
and relay...get this important common fix and you
might get a miracle repair and paid handsomely for
it!
8.)
Quick way to find a vacuum leak on a 2004 Ford Taurus
with 3.0L engine. Unless found, it would cause poor
engine idle rpm and stalling. Most mechanics will
do it the hard way but I will show you how to check
it in less than 10 minutes and charge your customer
as high as you want after you got him/her impressed.
9.)
A quick way to check your ecm (computer) on your
2004 Jeep if you have an intermittent stalling with
transmission codes P0753 and P0743. This will pay
you big bucks and most customers will pay you $100-$200
an hour on the spot!
10.)
How to reset or relearn procedures of the anti-theft
deterrent system of a 2005 Chevy Cavalier which
cause a no start. You will see this when the anti-theft
light is on during no start and will also flash
P1630 and U1000 no communication codes.
Notes:

mention here but you will be able to fix ALMOST
any vehicle both domestics and imports from early
1980s upto 2008 models. Seems impossible? I will

Problem:
I got this Jeep Cherokee 4.0L 4WD that will not
start.
Fuel
pump will not prime when ignition switch is turned
to on position. Fuel pump relay is good. The relay
is getting +12V to its coil, but it will not close.
Fix:
No cranking was solved by replacing the crank sensor
like you said.

Rich,
Here's
what I found in red below.
Problem:
notorious bad injectors. when hot, will short and
open the ecm (engine computer) driver.
FIX:
I ohmed the front and rear injector banks like you
suggested they were 3.5 and 2.8 ohms. I proceeded
to run the engine until the engine got hot and stalled.
I then removed the plenum while the engine was still
hot and ohmed out the injectors individually. #1
- 12.7 ohms #3 - 6.4 ohms #5 - 10.9 ohms #2 - 6.2
ohms #4 - 1.4 ohms #6 - 13 ohms I replaced #2, #3,
#4 injectors. All seems to be working fine now.

Rich,
Problem:
2002 Ford F-250 with 7.3 diesel engine. No start
but cranks. Injector driver Module relay constantly
clicks when key is on. No communication with pcm
or engine computer.
Fix:
Fuse 22 was partially blew/cracked, never seen that
before. It checked good with a test light to keep
the relay energized. Strange problem had me scratching
my head. ( dated July 30.2010)
